The Camp Katahdin reunion last August was an amazing day at Encore/Coda! Camp was alive with the sites, sounds and personalities of CAMP KATAHDIN, the boy's camp that ran on our site for about 50 years beginning in 1902 Expertly organized by former Katahdin waterfront director John Mannheim, alumni came from all corners of the northeast to share pictures, memories and tall tales of their days on the shores of Stearns Pond, renewing lots old friendships and making a few new ones. I spent the day shooting pictures, chatting about the old days, and describing the changes camp has seen over the past 40 years. I knew almost none of these people when they walked into camp and yet felt an instant connection with them based on our mutual camp experiences in the same spot. All in all, it was an incredible day and one which is a pleasure to share through these pictures and articles.
